8-bit Art Book combines popular a microencyclopedia of easily digested art history with a retro videogame aesthetic (pixelated art). 16 artists were taken from Phaidon's "The Art Book" and redrawn at 64 X 64 pixels using the 64-colour palette of the Nintendo Entertainment System.
