Can't Stop the Waves: A Community Radio Zine

"Can't Stop the Waves: A Community Radio Zine is meant to be a basic introduction into the world of alternative media broadcasting in Montreal, Canada, and around the world, and more than a historical exploration, it's meant to be a useful resource guide for anyone slightly interested in getting involved. We've included brief histories of community radio stations, explored the political philosophies behind the movement, spotlighted some excellent radio endeavours around the world, expounded tips for good radio making and created a resource lists of organizations, collectives, and stations in Montreal, Canada you can get involved with. It's far from comprehensive or definitive, but hopefully will get something tingling in your minds. Take back the airwaves!"
